Patey Prize

The prizewinner will receive a £250 prize plus the opportunity to present their abstract at the 2020 meeting of the Society of University Surgeons.

Rules for Patey Prize

  1. The presenting author should be a surgeon/scientist in training.
  2. The work should not have been presented/published elsewhere prior to the meeting.
  3. The presenting author should be the principal researcher.
Medical Student Prize

Rules for the Medical Student Prize

The presenting author must be a medical student at the time of submission and is expected to present the paper

Norman Williams Prize

The Norman Williams Prize is for the best clinical paper presented in any of the Oral Presentation sessions (apart from the Patey Prize session).
The prize winner will receive a £150 prize plus the opportunity to present their abstract at the 2017 meeting of the Surgical Research Society (South Africa).
You do not need to tick a box to be considered for this prize.

Kevin Burnand Prize

The Kevin Burnand Prize is for the best experimental/basic science paper presented in any of the Oral Presentation sessions (apart from the Patey Prize session).
The prize winner will receive a £150 prize plus the opportunity to present their abstract at the 2017 meeting of the European Society of Surgical Research (ESSR).
You do not need to tick a box to be considered for this prize.

ASiT Prize The ASiT prize will be awarded to the best presentation in the Training & Education session.
